A walkthrough of Lessig's concept of "Free Culture" - that creativity builds on the past. His major point: that by fighting a "war" against piracy, the record industry is in fact damaging the future of creativity.

Artists, he explains, understand that creativity always builds on the past. And if given the choice, they would look for alternatives to the record industry war. In a speach at New York Public Library, he explained - ”We need less Lessigs and more artists” .
